Молодая мамочка Кэлси Уэллс хотела сбросить вес после родов. Недавно в Instagram девушка, под ником «mysweatlife» написала, что она совсем не похудела, но это даже к лучшему. Удивительно, не правда ли?

IF YOU ARE BASING YOUR SELF-LOVE AND HAPPINESS ON LOOKING A CERTAIN WAY, YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPY. Happiness does not come from a six pack or a pant size. There are women of all shapes and sizes who are unhappy with their bodies and of all shapes and sizes who love themselves and treat themselves kindly. I personally have been many weights and sizes and no matter WHAT, was never happy with my body. THAT is why I preach self love, because if we don’t love ourselves we are not healthy no matter how «fit» we are. I promote being active and nourishing our bodies because if we aren’t caring for our bodies, it is hard for that self love to grow. The mental and emotional changes that are NOT seen in these photos began to manifest FAR before any muscle definition did. I have worked hard and am proud of my physical progress, but I am more proud of the fact that it does not define me. For much of my life I was filled with self doubt and insecurities, so I am MOST proud that now I am proud of who I am. I am unashamed of my dreams. I have the courage to set goals, the discipline to WORK for them, and the self belief that I can reach them. Of course at times I still fall back into a negative place. But now those moments are the exception instead of the norm. THEY CAN AND SHOULD BE FOR YOU TOO. Self love is not about thinking you are perfect and never wanting to improve or change. It is about understanding you are WORTHY, and WORTH IT, REGARDLESS of any physical changes; and I believe as we take care of our bodies physically, it is SO MUCH EASIER to treat ourselves with love mentally and truly see the worth permanently within us. Not because you start to look a certain way, but because you start to FEEL a certain way. So yes, get out and sweat! Make the healthy choice! At the same time be aware of your self talk and exercise positive thinking. I bought this dress when I was pregnant to use as a maternity dress cause it was super stretchy and comfy and would fit over my bump — I may end up wearing it tonight though cause apparently none of my old pants will fit over my BUM!!? 2.5 years between these photos and I CANNOT BELIEVE how big my squishy babe is getting❤! Soon after Anderson was born I found @kayla_itsines #bbg program and I’ve never looked back. (Though I’ve def stopped/started and had my fair share of «failing» along the way.) The first year of my journey I ONLY did #bbg — nothing «extra» — this is when most of my visual transformation was made. Then I continued with BBG but mixed it up depending on how I felt — aka some days went slower and added heavier weights to the circuits, etc. I still do BBG (heyyooo week 9 atm!) and since becoming a CPT I like to add to/modify the program and sometimes write my own workouts depending how I feel that day. I also LOVE mixing up my cardio days with ALL kinds of physical activity! Hiking, yoga, incline walking/sprints, box jumps, kickboxing, whatever! My point is, find what you love, and do that.However when I look at these photos, what really stands out to Ryan and I are the changes you cannot see. THIS is the progress I will always be the most proud of and what I am working on the very most. Take care of yourself. Love yourself. Nourish your body. Fuel your mind. // SCREW. THE. SCALE. // It’s been a minute since I got on my soapbox about this so here we go! Most of you prob already know what I’m about to say, but I will never stop advocating for this because it is SO so important. The photo on the left was a few months after I had Anderson. The photo on the right was just about a month ago. I AM THE SAME PANT SIZE IN BOTH PHOTOS, and am almost the same weight, yet my body composition has completely changed. EVEN IF IT HADN’T, one of my biggest regrets is beating up my post partum body and not seeing the beauty in myself at that stage. I so desperately want to help prevent women of all ages from developing the mindset that weight has anything to do with self worth, and I want every woman who has ever thought that or felt like I did, to understand what I finally learned. Because the confidence I am fortunate enough to feel now is something every women deserves to feel, AT EVERY STAGE. Your body is beautiful exactly how it is. Live a healthy life because you deserve it, not just because you may want to change. For a long time in my life, my automatic physical self-perception was negative. My first instinct upon seeing my reflection was to pick myself apart. My first instinct upon seeing other women was to compare myself to them. This sort of negative self talk is all too normal in our society and comes all to easily for many of us. Yes, true beauty comes from within, and it is who you ARE that matters. But that doesn’t mean how you view your physical self doesn’t matter — IT IS NOT OK to put yourself down. Physically or otherwise. We need to love ourselves, inside and out. We need to embrace our bodies just as we need to embrace our dreams. We need to believe we are beautiful just as much as we need to believe in ourselves. Unfortunately for many of us this is much easier said than done, so where can we start? By being CONSCIOUS with our thoughts. Treat yourself gently. Stand in the mirror and compliment yourself. Remind yourself another’s beauty does not detract from your own. Celebrate your uniqueness. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Since many of you are on your first round of @kayla_itsines #bbg program, this #transformationtuesday I wanted to show you my #bbgprogress through my first rounds — EACH of the numbered photos represents 12 solid weeks. Physical goals are great, but remember to keep your expectations realistic. If you exercise and eat right, you will see changes in your body. But every BODY is different and unique and real results take time. This is why it is HANDS DOWN most important to remember to keep your main focus throughout this journey on building STRENGTH, SELF LOVE, and HEALTH. Set goals to do more push-ups or take fewer breaks. Set goals to think positively and compliment yourself. Set goals to nourish your body, drink enough water, and take a daily vitamin. Though the visual results will come, your drive to be active and healthy will become less about those and more about caring for and appreciating your beautiful body, and keeping it strong and healthy. THAT is what I have learned through my journey. I am HEALTHIER and HAPPIER than I ever have been. I am kinder to myself. I am confident in myself. Not just in my ability to jump on a box or do commandos, but in WHO I AM. As a wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend and in being unapologetically my imperfect SELF. Through #BBG I found my passion for fitness and healthy living and it is truly a journey of growing mentally and emotionally as well as physically. We each have our own struggles, strengths, and stories.
