How to go on vacation to Bulgaria. Advantages of an independent trip to Bulgaria. Photo Requirements

The holiday season by the sea begins and I have a gift for you! Love Gordeeva, a professional in her field, tells about how to relax in Bulgaria in an interesting, tasty, comfortable and cost-free way. Lyubov lives in Bulgaria and organizes recreation. She knows everything about Bulgaria! Lots of photos, stories and tips on Luba's Instagram profile. If you use Instagram - subscribe Instagram.com/lyubovgordeeva And if you are not there yet, be sure to get yourself an Instagram account. There are not only cats and selfies, but a lot of interesting and useful information.
I give the floor to Luba).

My motto is relaxation without a headache. I know how uncomfortable it is to travel into the unknown, especially with small children. Therefore, in his blog on Instagram Instagram.com/lyubovgordeeva I talk about all the intricacies of holidays in Bulgaria, about the culture and traditions of this country. I myself live in Bulgaria, every day I go to shops, travel to different cities, communicate with people, and try to write about the most important and useful. My article is a help to those who are just planning to relax in Bulgaria. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them - here or in private correspondence. Look for contacts at the very end.

When to go to Bulgaria for vacation

It is very easy to spoil your vacation if you find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time. For example, you love the heat and the sun, the warm sea and the non-stop beach, and arrived in Bulgaria in early June for 10 days. What are you at risk of getting? 2-3 cloudy days in a row and cool sea. For June, this is a common thing. The climate in Bulgaria is very mild. But June does not happen without rains and without cloudy days. And the sea is not yet fully warmed up.

Now, if you like excursions, wandering through the narrow cozy streets of the Old Town, discovering tiny cafes and shops, touching ancient ruins and medieval buildings - then you will definitely like it! And not only in June, but even in April and May.

By the way, we start sunbathing already in April, and children plunge into the sea from the beginning of May. So if you don't like heat and pandemonium - June is yours!

And also - September, the velvet season. In my opinion, September is the perfect month for a holiday in Bulgaria. The sea is warm, like fresh milk, the air and water temperature is above +20 degrees, the freshest seasonal vegetables and fruits, few tourists, all cafes and beach activities are still working (until mid-September, after the 15th, they slowly begin to close).

Choosing a city for a holiday in Bulgaria

The second important aspect is the place of rest. I can not tell you about all the resort towns in Bulgaria, so I will tell you about the most interesting ones for my taste.

If you want it to be noisy and fun - do not even hesitate and feel free to choose Sunny Beach! The city stretches for 10 kilometers along the sea, here is the widest (up to 1 km) beach. Thousands of hotels, cafes, restaurants, shops, clubs, casinos - whatever you want.

Here you can find very cheap hotels and apartments - from 15 euros per day. But there are also luxurious expensive hotels and complexes with a vast territory.

If you want to relax quietly and calmly - choose Ravda. Low-rise buildings, cheerful colored houses - hotels and apartments - tiny shops and restaurants, there is a promenade overlooking the sea and dozens of restaurants there. A kind of provincial resort life.

By the way, in Ravda there are very modern complexes with swimming pools, gardens of Eden, near the sea, with a closed protected area.

Rent of such apartments - 30-50 euros per day. Feel free to contact me, I will help you find the best accommodation options.

Another of the interesting cities in Bulgaria is Saint Vlas. Luxurious expensive city, it is called "little Switzerland". Mountain air mixes with the sea, forming healing air currents. In Soviet times, there was the most famous respiratory sanatorium here - people treated asthma and other diseases respiratory tract just air.

The most expensive apartments and hotels are here. Apartment rental - up to 200 euros per day. Even if you are relaxing in another city, be sure to visit the yacht port of St. Vlas. He will not leave anyone indifferent!

is a separate song. The old part, located on the peninsula, is protected by UNESCO, and is the cultural and historical center of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. Here are preserved architectural monuments created before our era! There used to be ancient Greek settlements on the peninsula.

Today, Nessebar is built up with small houses in the Bulgarian style, between which here and there are ancient artifacts, churches, baths. The first floors are occupied by souvenir shops, cafes. You can live right on the peninsula, in a tiny family hotel overlooking the sea!

Flights to Bulgaria

Where to stay in Bulgaria: in apartments or hotels

If you want to turn off your head and you have a short trip, choose a hotel. And even better - a ready-made tour. This does not mean that you will have to go on excursions with other Russians, it means that they will prepare a tour package for you, which includes flights, hotels, transfers from the airport and back, visas. And it will be cheaper than doing everything separately.

Hotels in Bulgaria with prices and reviews:

If you want to live in the country, feel the atmosphere, cook on your own (by the way, cooking from Bulgarian products is a pleasure) - choose an apartment. The apartments should have a kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, air conditioning, balcony, dishes. Towels, bed linen. I will help you choose apartments for the most comfortable stay.

What to see in Bulgaria

Be sure to see Old Nessebar. And also - the old Sozopol. They are completely different, but here and there you will find thousand-year-old buildings, unique Bulgarian style, cozy cafes and restaurants.

Near Sozopol there is a very unusual place - Ravdinovo Castle. This is a new building. But it is so stylish and unusual that it will not leave anyone indifferent. This castle is a childhood dream of Georgi Tumpalov - he dreamed of living in a fairy-tale castle, and he built it himself.

Peacocks roam along the paths, quiet music plays, behind the fences - horses, llamas, other animals and birds - everyone lives peacefully, and is very fond of tourists. And in the pond in front of the castle swans swim - black and white.

Be sure to visit the tour "Bulgarian Village" - you will see how the Bulgarians traditionally lived - how they ran the household, how their houses looked like. The program includes a master class on cooking traditional Bulgarian food, a pottery lesson, as well as an unforgettable concert with national songs and dances (this is not a folklore circle for you, the spectacle is very powerful and unforgettable), and even dancing on hot coals. Around the stage are tables with traditional Bulgarian dishes, but drinks are unlimited.

If you have a thirst to visit as much as possible interesting places– take a trip to Plovdiv, to Mount Shipka, to the Rila Monastery, visit the home of the famous soothsayer Vanga or bathe in the mineral springs in Hissar.

Bulgarian cuisine: what to try?

Very rich in Bulgaria National cuisine, and this is what it is definitely worth going to Bulgaria for! First, the portions! Do not try to order two salads for two. Try to master one first. I'm not talking about main dishes. Portions are huge! Secondly - diversity - Bulgarians know how to perfectly cook fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes. The main thing is to know the places.

Shopska salad - it would seem - cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers (here, by the way, it is called Californian) - but it is so delicious!

Tarator is a traditional summer soup with sour milk, similar to our okroshka. Without sausage, but with garlic and fresh cucumber.

Be sure to try sach - a dish on a hot frying pan of vegetables, meat / fish / seafood - portions 400-900 gr.

Banitsa - a pie made from the thinnest dough and cheese - be careful not to swallow your fingers!

Seafood - try everything - fish, mussels in various sauces, shrimp. If you are having dinner with a large company, order a fish plateau - it's just an explosion of taste buds!

An independent trip to Bulgaria is sometimes much cheaper than buying a tour, and more profitable for those who want to buy real estate. In particular, the possibility of independent travel in Bulgaria is important when the buyer has already concluded a preliminary contract.

If you have already concluded a preliminary contract for the purchase and sale of real estate in Bulgaria and you need to go to conclude the main contract (obtain a notarial deed of ownership of the property) - why do you need, in this case, a hotel, if you, in fact, are already going to your home and in a couple of days you will officially become the owner of the cherished square meters on the Black Sea coast?

After numerous requests from our clients to us for help in obtaining visas, buying air tickets, insurance, etc., we decided to create a special page and explain how to do everything yourself and who to turn to for help?

VISAS AND AIR TICKETS

Air tickets to Bulgaria for individual trips can be found and bought through a search engine on this site (left column), which is looking for the cheapest options. For connecting flights, carefully look at the date and time of the aircraft's arrival at the connecting airport so as not to wait too long. Sometimes it is more profitable to buy not the cheapest option!

Hot deals on air tickets at very low prices can also be found using our website by clicking on the appropriate banner in the left column.

Visas can be purchased at a travel agency in your city. If the travel agency does not provide such services without buying a tour, then you can contact VISA CENTERS or special firms that help in obtaining visas, of which there are many. Tip: to buy real estate, it is most profitable to take a 3-month 2-entry visa. This is a little more expensive, but if you have to come to Bulgaria again to conclude a sale and purchase agreement and pick up the contract, then there will be no extra hassle.

Insurance (without which it is impossible to obtain a visa) you will be happy to issue for the duration of the trip in any travel agency. And if you want to save money, contact your local insurance company directly. True, it is better to know the nuances of insurance for those traveling abroad.

If you need a document confirming the rental of accommodation in Bulgaria for the duration of the trip or a document confirming the reservation of a hotel room (for obtaining a visa), you can find a suitable hotel in the search engine on the website (left column) and book a room for free. Cancellation of the reservation, just a little, is also free.

We warn you in advance about a possible "bug" with air tickets. If you suddenly want to purchase an air ticket to fly to Burgas or Varna within 3-7 days during the high season (from June 15 to September 15), then there may not be any charter tickets or these tickets will cost through intermediaries 2 times more expensive.

If you do not want to overpay, then there are several options for solving the problem:

1. You can fly not from Moscow, but from St. Petersburg, where, as a rule, tour operators and intermediaries do not buy up all the places for charters, and, accordingly, the probability of buying a cheap ticket is higher.

2. You can fly on a connecting (transit) flight through Europe. For example, through Munich. Say, Moscow - Munich, Munich - Burgas. The price of such a ticket will be lower than a charter from Moscow to Burgas. However, instead of 2.5 hours, you will have to spend 5-6 hours on the road.

3. You can fly to Sofia on a regular flight. In summer, the price of air tickets to Sofia, as a rule, does not increase, and speculators are not interested in this direction. From Sofia to Burgas and Varna you can fly by a local Bulgarian airline (flight 30 - 40 min.), As well as get from Sofia by bus in 4 hours along a brand new high-speed highway or by train (6 - 8 hours).

From Varna to Burgas and vice versa, you can get by bus or minibus, which depart at least 1 flight per hour (sometimes, at certain intervals of the day, flights every 15 - 30 minutes) from the central bus stations. Distance between Burgas and Varna is about 130 km, travel time is about 2 hours. Important to know: The LAST regular bus leaves no later than 19:00. Didn't have time - taxi!!!

Examples of typical misconceptions of buyers from Russia and Ukraine and differences in determining the areas of real estate can be found in the article "Nuances, nuances, nuances ..." on the main page. And ways to protect yourself from Bulgarian real estate swindlers, information on taxes, tariffs and duties can be found in the "Useful to know" section. We hope that this information will help you wisely invest your money abroad.

Viktor Pashinsky

You can go to Bulgaria on your own in your own car or fly in by buying tickets at.

In this article, we will try to describe in as much detail as possible the process of organizing a holiday in Bulgaria on your own and highlight the main ways to save money on a hotel, tickets, insurance or visa.

Do I need a visa to Bulgaria, how much does it cost and how to get it?

In Bulgaria really need a visa but it's very easy to get it. To open a visa to Bulgaria, you will need:

  • Statement of account– on the account at least 70 Euro per person, statement less than a month. Made in your bank.
  • Help from the place of work(on company letterhead) - you must specify the position and salary. Help is also no more than 30 days.
  • international passport– when you leave Bulgaria, there must be at least 91 days left before the expiration date of your passport.
  • Ordinary passport- must be valid.
  • Your photo– 2 copies of a photo for a European visa
  • Medical insurance– in the amount of at least 30,000 Euros.
  • Hotel and flight booking- issued immediately after their purchase.
  • Consular fee payment— 35 Euro regular (per week) 70 Euro — urgent (per day).

In fact, a visa to Bulgaria is issued very simply. For example, we did not submit either a bank statement or a certificate of employment. And nothing, everything was fine (although for Ukraine, tourist visas are processed according to a simplified scheme). You can get a visa on your own at the embassy - it will be cheaper than through an agency.

If all this is difficult for you, we advise you to use it - everything is detailed there. You will only have to consult, collect Required documents and the visa will be delivered directly to your home. The service of such a simplified visa application costs approximately 2,500 rubles, including delivery.

Travel insurance for a trip to Bulgaria - where to get it cheap and fast?

To open a visa to Bulgaria, you must purchase health insurance. For example, we bought a ticket through an agency and our insurance had everything: even rain and hurricane insurance. Seriously. It is terrible to imagine how much we overpaid for all this happiness.

The minimum insurance amount of medical insurance for opening a visa to Bulgaria is 30,000 Euros. Choose the perfect insurance for us - he compares the prices of reliable insurance companies that will really help in case of emergency. We use and recommend. By the way, if you add a couple of additional options to insurance, the price often rises very slightly.

Prices for package tours to Bulgaria in 2016

It is no secret that package tours to Bulgaria on the Internet can cost less than those of travel agencies - their margin is about 10%, and on the Internet it can be only 1-3% due to reduced costs.

When searching for tours, we use a service that automatically searches for the most profitable options among the largest tour operators and offers them to you at reduced prices (less commission).

But the main advantage is not even in this. In the agency you usually choose from 2-3 options, but here you can choose from dozens of offers.

How much will you have to spend on air tickets to Bulgaria

It is most profitable to buy tickets to Bulgaria from Moscow to the airport. If you do not have a clear reference to the dates of departure, we advise you to look for tickets for neighboring dates. Often it turns out to save about 20-30% of the cost of the flight.

It is quite difficult to search for tickets on airline websites (although sometimes there are exclusive offers, and sometimes the same flights are more expensive), we recommend using the calendar low prices from Aviasales:

You need to select the city of departure and arrival (it is worth looking for both Burgas and Varna), indicate the number of people, select the month in which you want to fly and evaluate the minimum ticket prices by day of the week.

How to choose hotels and inns in Bulgaria at the lowest price

To search for hotels, we usually use . It allows you to automatically compare the price in different booking systems and choose the cheapest option.

The key advantage of the service is the ability to quickly sort hotels by the desired number of stars and price, go to the map and choose a hotel near the sea and away from the noisy center.

It is also very important to be able to see prices in different months and book a room with a sea view in just 15-20 minutes.

Of course, each hotel is accompanied by a photo, a description and a list of services and an assessment with guest reviews.

In Sunny Beach, for example, very a good choice hotels

Many of them do nothing the best hotels 4* and 5* Turkey and Egypt

There are, of course, cheaper options, which you can easily book using the button below.

Prices for renting apartments and rooms in Bulgaria

If you want to live not in a popular resort like, but in a normal city, we advise you to stay not in a hotel, but in a rented apartment. In our experience, the price is almost the same, and living in your own apartment is many times more pleasant than in a hotel.

We usually search and rent accommodation through the popular AirBnB rental service. It is quite convenient, very fast and very reliable. As they say, we use it ourselves, we advise you.

Pomorie is divided into a new and an old part. The new one is being actively built up, while in the old one, apartments are mostly rented out, which are several decades old.

Many tourists are interested in: do Russians need a visa to Bulgaria? The answer is unambiguous - it is necessary. You will need any Schengen visa, or a national Bulgarian one.

Pay attention! At the moment, for all applying for Schengen visas, mandatory submission of biometric data has been introduced. It is necessary to pass the procedure of fingerprinting (fingerprinting) and photographing at the consulate (or official visa center). The data obtained will be valid for 5 years (59 months). In this regard, the initial registration of a visa implies the obligatory personal presence of the applicant when submitting documents. Children under the age of 12 are exempted from fingerprinting (but not from photography).
Otherwise, the issuance procedure remains the same, which is discussed further in this material.

The news spread on the Internet that it is planned to cancel visas to Bulgaria for the entire summer season. It began with the fact that the Minister of Finance of Bulgaria, Simeon Dyankov, gave an interview to one of the most influential Russian tabloids - Rossiyskaya Gazeta, in which he said that in order to attract tourists, Bulgaria would work according to the Turkish visa issuance system, that is, issue them directly upon arrival to the country. It is not known how Dyankov wanted to implement this idea, because, as you know, Bulgaria has been a member of the European Union since 2007, and visa-free entry to the EU countries is impossible for Russians. Moreover, Bulgaria strives to get into the Schengen zone, and Schengen, as you know, does not allow issuing visas at the border. Therefore, the Russians will have to obtain visas to Bulgaria in the same way as before.

Self-issuance of a visa to Bulgaria

Obtaining a Bulgarian visa by an applicant is conditionally divided into 2 stages:

Stage 1. Collection and execution of a package of personal documents

For each specific applicant, including children, it is necessary to collect a package of documents:

1. Application-questionnaire.

Registration of a visa to Bulgaria begins with filling out an application form. The source of the questionnaire can be downloaded, instructions for filling out -.

The Bulgarian side has the following requirements for the execution of documents:

On the first page of the questionnaire, you need to stick a photo 35 mm wide and 45 mm high. The photo must be in color, without white corners and other frames. The background should be light, preferably white, and the applicant's face should be free of glasses and straightened strands of hair. The photo must exactly match the real appearance of the person, that is, be relevant.

2. Foreign (external) passport. The validity period of the passport is at least 90 days after the end of the trip. for which a visa is issued. The passport must not be dirty or mechanically damaged. You also need a photocopy of the page with the applicant's personal data. On the first page of the questionnaire, you need to paste a photo 35 mm wide and 45 mm high. The photo must be in color, without white corners and other frames. The background should be light, preferably white, and the applicant's face should be free of glasses and straightened strands of hair. The photo must exactly match the real appearance of the person, that is, be relevant.

3. A valid internal passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation and a photocopy of the pages with registration and personal data.

4. An insurance policy with proof of medical coverage in the amount of at least 30,000 euros. An insurance policy can be obtained from any accredited insurance company. To select the optimal insurance program, the agent must be informed that the policy is needed for a trip to Bulgaria and the purpose of the trip itself.

5. Tickets for a trip (air, rail, other land transport) or reservations for them. When applying for a visa, an employee of the visa center will be guided by the travel dates from the tickets. If the applicant is traveling by car, then you need to submit documents for it (registration certificate and international insurance), as well as a driver's license. If the applicant is traveling as a passenger, the visa application center officer may request a letter of guarantee from the driver-owner of the vehicle stating that he undertakes to take the applicant as a passenger. It is best to find out about the need for such a letter and its contents by calling the consulate first.

Our first trip was introductory. I wanted to expand the list of travels, adding to it a country that is not far from flying, and in which there is a sea. Then we discovered many pluses for ourselves, without finding any significant minuses. After the birth of a child, Bulgaria became completely ideal for us:

  • Small distance. Fly from 2.5 to 3.5 hours;
  • Mild climate. No sweltering heat and too high humidity;
  • Food. Very tasty, inexpensive, while in any cafe you can find dishes that fit under the category of "children's menu".
  • Language. Bulgarian, somewhat similar to Russian. Signs are written in Cyrillic, not Latin. At the same time, many, especially the older generation, know Russian. We never had any communication difficulties.

Why do we organize the trip ourselves. Because it is interesting and not difficult. Moreover, every year more and more services appear on the Internet where you can book a hotel,. All this takes not so much time, while saving significant funds.

On holiday in Bulgaria. Where to look for cheap flights to Bulgaria?

There are various ways to get to Bulgaria:

  • By car, through the territory of Ukraine or Belarus;
  • By train. Until 2014, there was a railway connection between Moscow and Sofia, train number 59/60 ran between the cities. Now it has been cancelled. So Bulgaria can only be reached with transfers.
  • By plane. This is the fastest and most common way.

We do not consider ourselves aerophobes. Therefore, we always fly to Bulgaria. This is especially convenient with a child. We never had any problems: fast, comfortable, affordable. There are several ways to find cheap air tickets:

  • Search for air tickets on airline websites;
  • Search for air tickets for charter flights;
  • Search on metasearch engines for air tickets.

The planes of the Russian Aeroflot, its daughters Rossiya, S7, the Bulgarian Bulgaria Air and others depart from Moscow and other cities to Sofia, and the resorts of Burgas and Varna. Most often we refer to the site AviaSales. To search for tickets, you can either use the search form right here:

In the resort area of Bulgaria, there are international airports in and. The distance between cities is 150 km. Burgas Airport is slightly larger than Varna and in summer the passenger flow is higher. From Burgas Airport it is more convenient to get to,,. From closer to, Kranevo, Balchik.

Visa to Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a country of the European Union, but it is not yet officially included in the Schengen zone. Although you can enter here on a Schengen visa category C and D, if you have one. And so for a trip to the country you need to issue. We have never had any problems getting it. We collect the necessary documents, take them to the visa center and, on average, after two weeks, we have an entry permit in our hands. If you do not want to deal with the visa application yourself, you can contact.

You can enter Bulgaria on an open national visa of Cyprus, Croatia, Romania. And with a Bulgarian visa, you can safely go to these countries. There was also talk that Russian citizens would be able to obtain a Bulgarian visa upon arrival at the airport. But this is contrary to the laws of the European Union.

Travel insurance for people traveling abroad (TZR)

Medical insurance with a coverage of 30 thousand euros is required to obtain a visa to Bulgaria. It is issued by any insurance company. We recommend comparing the cost of travel insurance (TVR) on the website (an online service for comparing and selling travel insurance)and on the website - “with the best assistance in Russia - the company Mondial. This is the only assistance with an “AA” rating from Standard&Poor’s.” By the way, we have always dealt with this particular assistance, not knowing that it is “the best”, and only good impressions have been formed about it.

Resorts in Bulgaria

Without exaggeration, we traveled all over the Black Sea coast. And among our favorite resorts -,. Going to, you need to know exactly the main purpose of the visit. It will be a family and measured vacation, noisy and youthful, exclusively beach or sightseeing. It is from here that you need to push off.

The currency of Bulgaria is Lev (BGN)

The national currency of Bulgaria is the lev. Not the euro, although the country is part of the EU zone. To avoid confusion, rubles at home must be exchanged for euros, and upon arrival, euros for levs. Rubles can be exchanged for levs in Bulgaria, but not everywhere and the exchange rate is not very favorable.

It is impossible to pay euros according to Bulgarian laws, but some shops and shops violate these laws. And here the main thing is not to fall for the bait. All prices are in national currency. A tourist, not knowing this, pays in euros, actually overpaying twice. At the official exchange rate, 1 euro is equal to about 2 leva. And for information, 1 lev is equal to 35-40 rubles. The international designation of Bulgarian money is BGN.

It is best to change money in banks and in street exchangers, and not in hotels and airports. Cards are accepted in large cities, shopping centers, and in remote settlements there may be problems with terminals. Do not neglect the local pennies - stotinki. For 70 stotinki you can buy an ice cream cone, for 50 a bun, for 40 you can buy coffee from a vending machine.

Accommodation: private sector or hotels, which is better to choose for a holiday in Bulgaria

During our travels, we lived in various hotels and also rented accommodation. Each option has its own advantages. A hotel vacation frees you from everyday worries, thoughts about an umbrella and a sunbed on the beach, about what to eat for breakfast. But a long stay in a hotel is still a costly business even in budget Bulgaria.

If we go to the country for a long period, we rent housing. They often rent apartments in very modern residential complexes. Where the territory is closed, there are swimming pools and decent dining rooms, maids clean up on request for a moderate fee. Such housing in the summer will cost an average of 50-70 thousand rubles a month, this is for three people. So the terrible picture of eternal cleaning, cooking, ironing on vacation is not so real.

When the child was very small, the presence of a kitchen was a must for us. At any moment it was possible to sterilize the bottles, cook something, heat it up. In hotels, the options for meals depend on the travel program. If it is full of excursions, breakfast is enough, if it provides for lying by the pool - “full board” is an option, but not necessary. There are so many restaurants, cafes with reasonable prices in Bulgaria that you definitely will not stay hungry.

Booking a hotel or renting an apartment is easy. For those looking for an apartment, the site is suitable Airbnb. Here you can compare prices, read reviews of other guests, see photos and geolocation. Many praise this service on the Internet ( Airbnb) We haven't used it yet. In our opinion, the rental service is more convenient, but each tourist chooses for himself what is convenient for him.

When looking for a hotel, you can recommend booking systems such as agoda.com and booking.com. Both of these hotel booking systems have their own separate contractual relationship with hundreds of thousands of hotels around the world, so you can use these two systems at once to find a hotel and the best prices. But for the global search for hotels, there are also search aggregators - metasearch engines that look for hotel offers among a variety of booking systems. One of them is a Russian project Hotellook and international project.

We compare prices, choose, book, pay with a card and prepare for the next trip.

Transfer, taxi and public transport in Bulgaria

And so you booked a hotel room or an apartment, bought air tickets - the question arises, how do you get from the airport to your chosen holiday resort? For example, the airport of arrival Burgas (for Varna airport, the algorithm is about the same), you have several options:

  • Taxi. Taxis in Bulgaria are expensive, even compared to Moscow and Sochi, from 60 to 120 rubles / km (depending on the resort). At the same time, unscrupulous drivers can cheat and choose an incredibly long way, and the meter can spin much faster than expected. Taxi drivers won't haggle at the airport, not because they don't want to do it, but because their colleagues won't let them (by the way, this applies not only to airports, but also to large shopping centers like Burgas Plaza, we just moved away from shopping center on the road and caught a taxi there one and a half times cheaper, at the airport such a reception is not very convenient - after a three-hour flight with suitcases, you won’t want to go somewhere).
  • Public transport. There is a bus stop about 300 meters from Burgas Airport, and if you are light and not so tired from the flight, and you have a desire to wait for the bus, then you can save a lot, a trip to Sunny Beach will cost you 6 leva (3 euros), up to Pomorie - 3 levs, Sozopol - 4.5 levs.
  • Rent a Car. If you plan to rent a car in Bulgaria, then when booking a car online, you can indicate that you will pick up the car at the airport, so you also save and save well. You need to book a car in advance via the Internet, you can find great deals on car rental at Myrentacar.
  • Transfer. “Transport transfer is the transportation of a passenger from an agreed place to another pre-agreed place” (Wikipedia). We recommend ordering a taxi from the airport to your chosen resort in advance, through the following online services:and intui.travel

Holiday cost

When calculating future expenses, travelers should keep in mind about the dependence of prices on a particular month. During the period of influx of tourists, the cost of both services and products increases markedly. The only thing that remains unchanged
